Richard Carapaz ne participera pas au Tour d’Espagne. Dans un communiqué, la formation EF Education Easy Post a en effet confirmé que le coureur équatorien serait forfait pour la Vuelta.
Rappelons que Richard Carapaz n’a pas couru en compétition depuis la fin du Tour d’Italie au mois de mai dernier. Il devrait participer au championnat du monde ainsi qu’aux classiques italiennes de fin de saison.
